Growing numbers of nineteenth-century scholars and humanities computing experts are joining NINES, bringing with them an exciting collection of online projects and helping to establish the editorial boards that will drive new models for scholarly publishing. In addition, NINES actively pursues affliation with important research associations, software development groups, and print and electronic journals.

This work is supported by a highly-trained research and development group, currently engaged in building a suite of interpretive systems and tools.
